We have been customers of True Green got many years. In the beginning the service was ok.

Our lawn did improve. The second year it appeared to get better. As time went on the lawn began to get more weeds, more Crabgrass, and even GRUBS! Phone calls to customer service resulted in a very polite customer service rep.

Who apologized up the kazoo and gave you a scripted response a Free repeat service call. Each phone complaint resulted in the same rehearsed response. This response resulted in different techs. Each having a different reason for my lawn condition.

One said "over watering", another said "under watering", yet another said "lawn being cut too short", It should be know at this point, my next store neighbor and I share the same land scraper. Who cuts our lawns on the same day at the same height. No my neighbor is smart, he does not have True Green. In fact he does his own lawn only twice a year.

His lawn is green, no brown spots, weeds, crab grass or grubs. I called corporate and requested a manger return my call last year. Horacio returned my call a week later. He also came to my house and inspected my lawn.

He then came up with the other favorite excuse of True Green " you need Aeration and reseeding". After much complaining Horacio agreed to aerate and seed at no charge. This was done in late fall just before the local office (Yaphank, NY) closed for season. Spring arrives, I find that not only was my lawn reseeded.

But ALL my flower beds were also reseeded! We have spent way to much time pulling grass from all the beds. When office was contacted about this, they replied with another empty apology and said "that happens sometimes". Moving on to this season, I experienced the worst service since I have been with True Green.

Each time I called I received the same BS. I requested the mgr. Horacio call me and respond to inspect my property. I waited three weeks, no call, no response.

I called again, in a few days a tech. Responded and the blame game continued. I called again asking for a district mgr. to call me.

I was informed that first the Gen. Mgr of Yaphank wold have to speak with me before I could speak to the district mgr. well William called three days later and told me based on the reports of the teach I would need a fungicide treatment. He would also take care of the weeds and crabgrass.

A tech came and said he applied the recommended treatments. Guess what? It's been three weeks and I still have brown spots, weeds and crabgrass. This is again proof that True Green just wants the money.

They do not care how our. Or anyone's property looks. They do not value their customers. They will not let you speak or even give you the contact info for the powers to be.i pay my bills on time and get unsatisfactory service from this company.

I should get a refund for the year and a years free service of all that True Green provides. But, we know that won't happen. Does True Green check their ratings and complaints?

Not so much. They don't care!
