In the spring when the initial application of fertilizer, *** control and grub control is usually applied I was not contacted about this initial application, although Trugreen's national advertising states this is important and should be done now. I called and was told it was scheduled for May 21.

When I asked why it was so late they told me I had a "custom program" (first time I have ever heard of such a thing) and my lawn didn't need an initial application. My first application was to be performed when everyone else's second application was being performed. Why it wasn't done on my lawn in early spring when it is so important for everyone else was never explained. We also contract with them for mosquito spray.

This was first performed in May as promised. I received a robo-call informing me that the second spray would be performed on June 21. Nobody showed up and I never received any notification or explanation why it was not performed as scheduled. I called and was told it was scheduled for Monday, July 3.

At 2:00 pm that day I called and was told that they would definitely be there because it was still scheduled for that day. At 4:30 I called again and was told everyone was working late to finish their runs and they would be there because it was still on the schedule. Nobody showed up and we spent the 4th swatting mosquitos. On 7/5 I called and was told it was scheduled for 7/13.

No explanation was provided why they had missed two prior appointments. I told the rep I wanted to file a complaint the she said someone would be calling me with a better schedule. The next day when I had not heard from them I called back again. No explanation was provided for the missed appointments and no assurances could be provided that it would not happen again on 7/13.

I asked for someone from the local provider to contact me about moving up the schedule and to provide an explanation for the missed appointments and was told someone would be calling in a few minutes. A few minutes has stretched to an hour - with no call from anyone; hence this review.

Never again. Scott's was good to us; Trugreen is a disaster.
