They don't keep their appointments, apparently. I told them over and over when I first signed up that I am never home during the week but really want to be there to talk to the technician when he comes over as our lawn is in terrible shape and I'd love to see what they can do or here any suggestions.

They insisted they don't work on weekends so it has to be during the week but I kept calling over and over and they wouldn't give me a day or time. Finally they did and I made arrangements to be home. I called that morning to ask an approximate time (or time frame) and she said she would have the technician call me right away. Finally, at 3, I got a call from their office saying that they need to reschedule without any explanation of why.

I said I would be cancelling then as I told them I desperately needed help and I waited for them all day. So, she cancelled the account and later a service manager called me. He acted nice and genuine on the phone, he asked how he could make it right and I said send someone that day since I was already home or on Saturday. He said the technician had already headed back to the shop and that they only work on Saturdays during certain seasons and when they really have to.

The he said he cares about my business so he would come out later that week and look at it and then call me with what they can do and how he can help. He showed up that day and called me, like he promised. But in short, he said "he isn't a miracle worker." So when I get my lawn back in shape, they would be happy to help me maintain it.

I was already pissed, but then with how condescending he was with that comment, I would've already never done business with them. Lucky for me, I found another provider who actually keeps their original appointments and is willing to work with me to get it back in shape.

How about the guy was trying to be honest and save you money rather then stringing you along for a few visits, you not get the "results" you are imagining will happen, and did the right thing. There is never any winning in the landscape world when jack wagons like you exist.

I find the above post form "Anonymous" very suspect; considering it is from Memphis, TN. Which just happens to be where TruGreen's Corporate headquarters is located. This post I suspect is from a TruGreen Corp TOOL!
