I recently decided to use Trugreen Irrigation Service for my Sprinkler system maintenance. I'm very disappointed with my overall experience. I don't like to give reviews without substantiating the rating with documentation and facts. Here's my experience.....I received my first service on April 26, 2018 which was the service to "Open the Sprinklers" (Work Order 332102****). During that service the Technician said that everything looked good, and wrote the following comment on the Work Order....."Today, I inspected your sprinkler system and completed your quarterly maintenance service. Please continue to water in accordance with your lawn specialists recommendations. Thank you!"

A few days later, I noticed a "build - up" of water near one of the Sprinkler Heads and called in for a service request. The Technician came out on May 9th and informed me that I needed a new Sprinkler Head, but didn't have one on his truck (Work Order 343173****).

On May 15th the Technician returned and replaced the Sprinkler Head (Work Order 332115****). Today, July 10th, I had my quarterly Sprinkler Maintenance (Work Order 332115****) and was informed by the Technician that 16 of my Sprinkler Heads needed to be replaced (including the one that was replaced on May 15th). I'm livid that this was not identified when the system was turned on or during the other service calls. The fact that one of the Sprinkler Heads the Technician identified today was actually one that was replaced on May 15th is "somewhat suspect". I've reached out the the Plainfield office to inform them of my disappointment and am waiting for a response. Hopefully, I will get some answers.

I've contacted Trugreen three times this week and have yet to get a call back. Trugreen has demonstrated to me that my "customer satisfaction" is not important. I have a valid concern that "all of a sudden" I have 16 sprinkler heads that need to be replaced, although Trugreen has not mentioned this during the last 2 month period of inspections. As I mentioned also, one of the sprinkler heads that was identified to be replaced was actually already replaced in May.

I prepaid for my services, and because I have not heard back from Trugreen, I've decided to cancel the services and get my money back.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Are you referring to the national chain Tru Green or a local company? They must have a license and business permit in NJ-if they do not you have leverage for damages and refunds beyond just your service contract.
